The Beauty Social presented by Beautylish: RECAP

Hi lovelies,

I had such an unforgettable time at The Beauty Social this past Sunday and wanted give you guys a quick recap of the event!

Where to even begin?!  First, I want to say that Beautylish did an absolute fabulous job of putting together this event: from the chic white, pink, sparkly, decor to the low-lit ambiance, to the nine fantastic beauty booths offering free services, to the inspirational panel of speakers and the most incredible, unbelievable swag bag of goodies ever--Christmas in October, anyone?!

My sparkly glitter tattoo from the Urban Decay booth!

My first ever super fun CNDWorld shellac manicure!

*Unique Fact: Benetint was originally created for an exotic dancer in the 1970s..she needed something to make her n*pples rosier. Yes, you certainly read that right, ladies and gents!  The women of Benefit Cosmetics believe in meeting the needs of their customers by "never saying no".  Today, Benetint is a best-seller, best known as a rose-tinted lip & cheek stain.

It was such an honor to hear Mr. BillyB share his words of wisdom & encouragement with us on stage and have the opportunity to meet him directly after.  Here is one piece in particular that I wanted to pass onto you:

"The rules that people impose on you and the rules you impose on yourself..are going to get in your way..what you have to do and what you have to get in the habit of doing..is taking the time to be present..in the moment..and look at the face that you're working on." -Billy Brasfield, On How to Be the Best Makeup Artist that You Can Be.

Claire Wineland took the stage with a beautiful inspirational speech on Valuing Your Inner Beauty.
There is nothing more rewarding than being able to connect with my fellow beauty bloggers, readers, makeup artists' and industry pros in person; I am so thankful I had the opportunity to attend this Beauty Social.  It was absolutely refreshing to witness a beauty event that truly embraced and celebrated both outer & inner beauty.

I can't wait to see what Beautylish has in-store for next year!  Be sure to click here to receive the latest updates on the next Beauty Social and if you haven't already, join the glam members of the Beautylish community!
